Does she have orange in a bedspread, rug or curtains that you want to use? If so, use that as the starting point. Paint is chosen last after the other decor items.

I had a bathroom in BM Gerbera Daisy and it was very nice. Tame though--I'd still want some serious orange highlights in there! (Lacquered orange woodwork!)

Thanks to you both! Great ideas Beth! I think she would do a light hue (e.g. BM perfect peach maybe even at 75% saturation), but are you still saying only do one wall? I definitely think that could work with accents. The issue is she has existing gray painted wood furniture and a bright yellow papasan chair, so I dont want to have too much going on and I wonder if two wall colors might confuse the issue? We also have off-white (BM linen white) trim (existing) so not sure a pure white wall would work? Thanks again!!

Any of these colors work with your trim and grays.

I would recommend you find one fabric that unifies all the colors first. Yellow, orange, coral and gray is what ive read so far? If you cant find a fabric think about a paint treatment that combines the colors. How old is she? With kids rooms you can take some liberties you might not have elsewhere and with teens rooms combining the unexpected creates a bohemian eclectic feel. This wall is an example of how orange and yellow and gray can be brought together with paint.

Thanks design interior south. She is almost 5. I was thinking of unifying with a bedspread. I think if she goes peach on the walls, a comforter with yellow, gray, orange and/or peach could be enough orange. She likes all hues so doesn't need BRIGHT orange to be happy!

At age 5 her tastes are going to change a lot in the coming years. Showing you this for color combos and using orange as an accent more than the main color as accents are easy to change

They will absolutely change, but I don't mind painting... the funny thing is, her room is a teal color like the first photo and apparently she wants a change. Ha! Those are adorable rooms for sure and I plan to rely on accents for any bright orange.
