Comments (14)Donna (sorry all for hijacking this thread) - I think you should post your pics on the Bathrooms Forum, but also perhaps post a thread on the Kitchens Forum with a link to let people know that you've posted pics on the Bathrooms Forum. Since your kitchen was so popular, I think the Kitchens Forum people will remember, and want to see your bathroom. I just saw your message on the Bathrooms Forum about your Kohler Escale toilet. That's too bad. I thought that toilet looked unique and great. OK. I am done hijacking this thread....See MoreTumbled stone everywhere
Comments (8)I too am 'overdosed' with tumbled stone. It's pretty, sure, but so overwhelmingly popular that I think it will become one of the hallmarks of our time. Of course, with my soapstone, limestone-look tile and cherry-toned alder cabinets, I used one of the next most possibly over-used alternatives: subway tiles. Well, not completely conventional. Mine are bone-colored in a crackle glaze with a matching hand-painted liner. I'm a ceramic junkie, and think there are any number of gorgeous tiles that would look wonderful with soapstone and not date your space. Comments (10)Kitchenchaos -- have you posted photos of your backsplash yet? I would love to see it. Thanks. In the meantime, I'm posting a link to my kitchen photos (ignore the white kitchen -- it's the 'before') in case someone would kindly like to give me some backsplash advice. I can surely use it! Thanks. Here is a link that might be useful: fromflorida's new kitchen in need of backsplash...See Morelimestone look porcelain tile floors
Comments (0)Has anyone found any limestone-look porcelain flooring in the US? Everything beautiful I find is in Europe and either too expensive to ship here or not available. It would be for the majority of our house. Looking for large format but tumbled edges. Thanks!...See MoreRelated Professionals
