From Pentwater, MI, the home of Mears State Park ... the Channel into Lake Michigan. There is a long Pier with a Lighthouse where the Channel and

Lake meet. (The prettiest sand in the World on the Beach at the Park ;) )

So many to choose from but Bryce Canyon is a favorite.

And Arches. I think this was on the ranger-led Fiery Furnace hike. Beautiful and fun hike if you haven't ever done that

    Moro Rock, Sequoia National Park

My brother took this photo - this is as high as he would go
I went further up, but not to the very top.

*I want to go to Bryce Canyon and Arches - thanks for those photos! I also want to go to Banff and Jasper in Canada.

Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego:

Whiskeytown Falls at the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area near Redding, CA, was ravaged by the Carr Fire in 2018. The waterfall is still there, of course, but all the beautiful, lush greenery was destroyed. The trail to the waterfall remains closed to the public due to the danger of falling debris such as trees, branches, rocks, etc. I will be forever thankful that I was able to experience the beauty of this area before the fire took it.

Love all these pictures! I have a few but have to get ready for work and to pick up some fencing at Lowes. We really do have a beautiful country.

Such beautiful pictures today. During our motorcycle days, DH and I saw many, many of these scenes from the National Parks and several in Canada too. We have hundreds of photo memories as we visited the National Parks all before digital cameras. Have scanned just one and it is my identity when I post here. You have seen it many times. My favorite picture of me and Bryce Canyon.

Lgmd, are you sure that is Bryce? Looks like Zion to me. And the last photo dedtired posted looks like another view of Bryce not Zion.

All of my National Park pictures are pre-digital so I don't have any available now. I am contributing Hocking Hills State Park which is a great place to visit. Lots of rocks, waterfalls, trails and woods to hike in. It's quite beautiful there.

Outside, I think you’re right. My last one is Bryce. Unmistakable, except by me!

    Yosemite National Park

You are likely right, Outside. We were in Bryce and Zion over a 2 day period and I have not been sure which in which after 24 years. If I dug out my albums, the pictures are labeled. Whatever, both places were awe inspiring.

Most of my national park photos are also pre-digital, and I need to scan some of them. Also, most of my photos are on my computer in Los Angeles, and I don't have access to them here 😞
