Hey guys..I am getting no time in towns when there is a library open or else I have no time. We spent 2 days in Austin and had a wonderful time but I never got to a library and also it was too fun to be inside :) I really appreciate the cheers from everyone. We are in Wimberly TX tonight at an EMS station that lets cyclists stay with them. I can only have these few minutes. Maybe in Del Rio I will get more time LOVE YOU GUYS ! c

Glad I am not the only one, we have two of them, wild but quite happy to just hang out at our place. They are teaching their two young ones to fly at the moment and have caused much excitment for the children, (11 & 3) who have watched mum engineer some strange platforms to prevent them falling out of the nest ( it was built up in the corner of the carport). They have only caused one problem, an identity crisis for our two "gun" dogs, yes, a retrievor and a lab !!!! The dogs are constantly landed on which severely disturbes their "busy doing nothing" time and I have even witnessed them step aside and let the birds eat from the food bowls. Oh the shame, I am glad for the 6 foot fences so they are not publicly ridiculed on their morning walks.

I do have tons of mosquito fish in the pond, so I don't know if they are eating those. When I throw fish food in there, all the little mosquito fish swim around the food. When the koi go to open their mouth to eat the food, they get some of the mosquito fish as part of their meal.

Denise, here is a link about lighting. That lamp, to me, is not appropriate for the space without having other lighting, not because of the size, but because the light doesn't point downward. It points upward/outward. It is the type of light you use for ambient lighting of the room. JMO. (Edit: I have to admit I am not a fan of torchiere-type lighting in any form at all, so this may impact my view of that particular floor lamp) Groveraxle, and others on Houzz, are much more knowledgeable in this area than I am....please read these houzz articles to start.
