I just realized that I don't have any good current pictures of my sweetie of 22 yrs. Have just long shots of a side view or backside (which is still pretty good looking 😊). He is usually the one taking the pictures. I'll have to fix that.

It's always a problem to make people cut into it. If I make it for a meal at my own home, I don't put out any other butter, so they have no choice. When I take it to parties elsewhere, I always have to be the one to slaughter it. But sometimes the hosts want to "keep" it (not sure for what or for how long), so it doesn't get used at Easter meal.

My new tongue drum! I left it on my front porch and the septic guy who does our annual servicing banged out Hey Jude. The UPS delivery guy played Oh, Canada and an Indian traditional song, and the kids on a fund drive just had fun with it. Bing,bong. Jingle Bells was one. Visitors love it, it seems. Very calming sound. 🎶

Chloebud, seeing your sister's gorgeous rhododendrons reminded me of when I was in Killarney in Ireland. We were on a tour and riding in a horse drawn cart with our very cute Irishman driver when we saw lots of rhododendrons scattered throughout a small forest nearby. He told us they were in the process of cutting them all down because they are an invasive species there and they want to be rid of them. Shocking to someone who loves flowers but understandable about the invasive species part of it.
