Comments (22)Sjerin, the leaves are present in that picture, but missing from the lower branches, which I didn't photograph. The tree also dropped most of the apples produced by the lower branches. This is also true of my other apple trees (multiple varieties). Some other leaves fell awfully early this year as well. And it's not just my trees; some other local residents have told me the same thing. I don't know what this says about climate change or anything else. It's a mystery. Oh, and the Golden Delicious is never our largest apple anyway, but with so many on the tree this year I expect they'll be fairly small....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Su 7/26
Comments (30)Morning glory with garlic (not the morning glory we know here in the US; in Asia it's a green that is prepared and eaten like spinach). Comments (30)caflowerluver, I was 19 and husband was 24. We had a 3 day wedding. Friday small ceremony and reception in the city I was born in, Saturday large reception and dance in the town near to where my husband grew up and then another big reception and gift opening on Sunday at his parents house. None of it was my planning but it was very important to his family who loves to party (Ukrainian) My poor born in England mother was a little overwhelmed by it all. 😁 My dad just went with the flow. My husband’s family planned it for the end of August as it wouldn’t interfere with harvest.🙄 My husband and I just told everyone to let us know where and when to be at these places and we’d be there. It‘s worked out wonderfully so far....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Su 11/26/23
