Small Powder Room Ideas?
Looking to renovate our powder room. We are thinking about a white mosaic floor with a grey/brown grout, white walls, black or white ceiling. Kind of looking for a 'scandi' kind of feel? Likely a 26x12 inch walnut floating shelf/vanity, with a 17x11 inch white rectangular sink with some room on the sides for soap and maybe a plant or candle. Not sure if the mirror should be black or brushed gold (thinking round like the Umbra Hubba), and a black or gold wall mount faucet. Getting rid of the built-in feature behind the toilet, as it is tiny and not centred. Using the same layout. I have attached a photo of the current bathroom (I apologize for the mess and ugliness) as well as some inspiration photos. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated:) Thank you so much for your help! :)

Comments (38)Patty-2010 -- I'm just now seeing your message about the picture of the red flowers. I believe it is a Pottery Barn framed print, but I myself got it at a yard sale. Don't you love it? And this should interest people who wonder whatever happens to the decor of rooms that people feature on this site -- I've made a few changes to the bath since I first posted. I'll post a photo when I get home later, but I'll tell you that we did change the hanging light, and I changed the picture. I know I said I never would, but we inherited a small chandelier from my sister in law, so we thought we'd go with a different style. Comments (8)I found mine at Jossandmain.com - you may have to wait till some come up for sale again. Why not find plain boxes at a craft store and fininsh them with wallpaper/paint or fabric? Comments (20)More info on the tile....in the questions for that photo, they say the tile is Puka Iridescent. I had a feeling that Puka was Sonoma Tilemakers but I couldn't check last night. So I have found it in their Vihara line of glass tiles. I actually like their Silk colors better than their Iridescent colors as an iridescent has other colors that probably won't work with your cream and brown granite. I had samples of Oceanside glass tiles in the polished, matte, and iridescent tiles, and just a touch of the iridescent wouldn't be bad in a custom mix. They have many colors, shapes, and sizes like Vihara.
