I love it! Don't dare, myself. At the rate my hair is thinning and regressing up my forehead, I'm not certain it would grow back. Darn old age, anyhow!

I for some reason have always wanted to shave my head. I think from the front I could get away with it, but my head is sorta flat in the back and I don't think it would look right from the side view.

I do that. Whatever the closest clipper attachment is, that's the one I use.

You probably already know this, but if the UV is strong where you live, wear a hat or something if you're going to be out in the sunlight for very long. Especially right after cutting it that short for the first time. I've had a tender scalp a time or two. :-)

Good for you. I saw on line video of Anderson Cooper. He tried to cut his own hair but hit the wrong setting and shaved off a huge path on the left side of his head. lol

I wear mine pretty short too, but I'm just not brave enough to do it my self. Yet.

Super...I've been tempted, but haven't gone there yet. My cousin did and I have to say I was glad when she grew it out.

I have been thinking about doing this. I have some old clippers from when I used to try to do one of the dogs we used to have. I think I clipped part of him one time then gave it up.

Good for you! I have a friend that is pretty well known in Houston that did this on tv the other day to raise money for the food bank ! I’m tempted.

Was just watching Nancy Pelosi on TV, looks like she still gets to go to a hairdresser. I wonder who makes her up every day.

I've never grown a beard, so thought I'd let the facial hair grow.

It's been a month - and I'm somewhat disappointed: the stuff on top ... well, around the top, mostly, ... still has some dark mixed in with the gray, but the stuff showing up on the face is - darn near totally gray!

I don't have anything on top, been that way for years.

I do, however, have a beard. What really gets to me...when I trim it a bit, only dark pieces fall in the sink leaving the grey. It's a salt and pepper thing!!

I was thinking of encouraging dh to grow out his beard now that we're home, but they keep face masks from fitting more tightly so I figure it's better to be clean shaven and safe.

The last time that I shaved was the day Richard Nixon was re-elected to the White House!

However, in-laws voted at Thanksgiving that I should re-grow it. Too much 'badness' under the whiskers.

One of my daughters cuts her hair to about 1/2" several times a year and I ...hate it. She has a beautifully shaped head and face, and extra-thick dark hair, so it looks good, and I know it feels better to her, but I ... hate it.

Me too. I use #1. I've been doing it for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love it. Wash and go.

Some women do know how to fix their own hair and do their own makeup.

I've seen a lot of public figures that can cut, dye and style their own hair. Male and female. And I also have the London bridge up for sale.

I would never shave my head. I've lost and lived without hair for over 10 years because of cancer treatments and a blood disease - finally getting some back and feeling more like myself. Wigs suck. So that is another perspective.
