ceiling treatment on a ceiling with a back slope

what would work? this is not the exact ceiling..but I'm wondering if it were something close to this what could you do with it? could you tie in some kind of coffered ceiling to that sloped area? the ceilings are 13 ft at the highest and approx. 9 or 10 (above the door)

Just paint is enough. The different planes are what add the interest. No need to do anything else.

This sort of ceiling makes it difficult to do anything other than paint it.

A flat or completely vaulted ceiling is much more versatile.

Bev is right -- rods require special treatment for alteration. Even if you can cut one end of one section and not have to deal with threading, you need a clean cut or you will have a mangled rod and/or a messed up finish. The chains will be much easier. You installer should be able to shorten one side on almost any chain. If the available info doesn't tell you that it can be adjusted, contact the manufacturer or have the seller investigate it for you.

Tile to the ceiling is fine. It'll look really pretty. But there are a couple problems with your plan. - Have you even used a wet-room? Are you absolutely sure you want the PITA cleaning situation, requiring you to clean the tub every time you use the shower? I use my tub about once a month, so I only need to clean it once a month. With a wet room, unless it's ginormous, you have to clean it every day bc moisture, body oils, soap scum, etc will be on it. - And if your wet room is ginormous enough to have the tub really far from the shower area (so it doesn't get wet every time), then the shower is going to be really drafty and cold. - And a 12' ceiling in a shower pretty much guarantees it's going to be drafty and cold anyways. So, like I said, your tile plan is fine. The real problems are PITA cleaning and a very cold drafty shower. BRRRR!

What kind of window treatments with this sloped ceiling?

If you want curtains, 4" above window is plenty of room to mount a rod. If you wanted them higher, there's really nothing you can do about that. Not sure what you mean by trouser length, since they come in different lengths. Just touching the floor or 1/4" off the floor is good. Can't see the window to the left, but if you have the same space as the right window, then you should have plenty of room to stack.

What do you think about something as simple as painting your ceiling a dark or bold blue that would almost be looking into the night sky? You could add accents to the ceiling if you want further give the night sky affect. But that would be a nice since you can actually see the night sky through the window. Biggest issue with that could be if you think it would take away from natural light during the day and make the ceiling feel too low?
