I can't tell you how to use all of the plants you have, but can make suggestions about where you could use what type of plant. You can determine, of what you have, what makes sense to use in a given spot. If you want to update, I would definitely not use any plants as an edging stripe around the perimeter of a bed. Something like the "variegated grass" which is probably Lirope or Mondo, would be much better used as a solid groundcover. There's quite a few places you could use such a thing. The "grass" could be divided and you would have an ample supply for some use. I dislike the tree in line with the front door, too, and would make it disappear. Would raise the canopy on the birch to at least above the eave height. The low hanging branches give a disheveled look. The bed by the mailbox would look much better if it was a true quarter circle. Where it intersects the curb and drive it should meet at 90*, not any other angle. I brought the bed out around your swing. It shouldn't be directly in the lawn. If the picture cooperated, I probably would have put another small tree off of the right front corner of the house. It would help frame your house, screen the view of the neighbor's house and give the sense of some shelter for the swing.

Diana, the pictures do not show enough. With landscape, we need to see more detail and surroundings. Also, it would be helpful for you to give a little background, and say something about the goals & objectives so as to minimize too much wrong guessing. For the pictures, for a foundation planting area, we don't need to see as much sky or foreground. Move in with the camera such that you can see a small spot of sky above the house, and foreground as shown in the white frame below. (Keep the same point of view .... roughly in line with center of house.) Then take slightly overlapping pictures such that you can capture the view show in the black frame .... from far left to far right. Don't make a panorama of those pictures but post them individually. It is important that the camera NOT CHANGE LOCATIONS BETWEEN PICTURES for this complete scene. If you do, the pictures cannot be reassembled. The camera merely pivots.

The pondless water feature is going to splash more than you think. Depending on what the moving water component is, the splash area should be large enough so that the splash is contained ... larger than what you're allotting. Another thing to watch out for is that is can actually be quite annoying if water splashing is too loud near an area where one wants to converse. Do some testing/checking before committing to a water feature that ends up causing irritation. It's not a good idea to place a raised planting bed against a fence, or too close to a fence. Ideally, the raised bed should be constructed first, and then the fence would go atop it. Your plan show the raised beds as though they have no back, but they will need a back and it will consume space, so it must be drawn in .... and then it's starting to squish your raised beds to be quite shallow. I'm wondering if your vision is compatible with the site or if you're creating solutions that require a lot of engineering or are impractical for the space .... translating into a lot of extra cost. Normally, one would evaluate a plan relative to the site to see if there is good compatibility.
