I like thesage green

Thank you. I do as well, the only thing holding me back is the neighbor a few doors down has the same brick and sage siding.

Looks like you have a brown roof, so charcoal wouldnt be the best choice. I like the sage green and think it would look really nice, but, I understand about the neighbors. I also think the brown you already have, looks very nice.. It matches in with both brick and roof. I do think your front door, could be redone. Maybe paint both the door and the storm door a brighter color. The picture is in the winter, so hard to tell a lot about what the landscaping really is, but, it does look like you could use some colorful plants, and nicer landscaping. If it were mine, I would leave the brown, concentrate on the door and the landscaping.

I think the current brown is too dark. Your color samples look very different in each of the pictures.

I would look for a lighter color. Maybe do the gutters and fascia in a dark brown.

Here are the two light colors in your sample. It is really hard to tell how they look in real life, but I think I like the lightest of the bunch.

If the goal is to upgrade the curb appeal, I would look to landscaping because your house colours are mostly working as is.

That said, you're showing the Gentek samples which I'm assuming are for the soffit. The soffit doesn't actually show so I'm not sure why you're starting there. They help bounce light into your windows, so going with the lightest colour that goes with your lightest bricks (NOT white) would be a direction for the soffits.

The door and siding are an entirely different matter. The brown that you have now on the siding goes perfectly with the darkest brown bricks. Just refresh it. The thing that looks out of place is the overly white vinyl windows and door. I'm guessing the windows can not be painted so that leaves the door . (If the windows could be painted, a beige colour that tied back into the brick would be the idea. )

The front door could/should be a different colour than the siding. The natural wood tone suggested by Freedomplace1 would work with your brick if you changed the door, but probably not as a paint colour. What were you thinking for the door?

Thank you all for your opinions! I agree the charcoal and colours above are two dark. My very first go at this was the color scheme pictured below but it was shot down. I’m resurrectino it for your opinion. This is my ideal look if it can be achieved with likeness.

With the eaves the nutmeg or antique brown by Gentek and the soffit/fascia either almond or wicker and carrying that color through on the siding and trim with a brighter door color. Thoughts? Ideal color combo?

Someone mentioned that the eves should be a light color to reflect the natural light and that makes sense to me. I would do a dark color on the fascia and gutters, but a light color on the body of the house, the chimney and the soffit. I like the almond and wicker cafe.

I will be keeping with the brown eaves, fascia and soffit as some of you have recommended. Out of the classic colours available I was not able to find a complimentary light colour (custom isn’t an option at this time). Which of these two browns would you recommend?

Also it’s important to mention that we currently have the nutmeg colour on the house but it is in dire need of replacement.

Do you think the light color you're holding would be too bright? I would prefer that to the brown. If you want to go brown, I'd pick the redder one for the entire house.
