Is there a fungicide product that really works?
Comments (20)I live in Fungusville, Alabama. I am fortunate to live near Auburn. There is no paucity of information on chemicals, plants, etc. Our former rose society president made the drive from Auburn, plus we have been blessed to have several of those professors or former's as members of our rose society. I have learned a whole lot from them, but there is so much more that I have not learned. We were so fortunate to have had a wonderful Scotsman relocate here to design and care for the Shakespeare Festival gardens. His membership in our society was one of those treasured not only for his wisdom but his wit and that knack he had for telling you, "you are nuts" without saying it quite that way. His silly little grin when he was gently reminding you led you to know you had much to learn but he was not going to say that, quite a change from the professors, one of whom seems to know it all and if you do not believe it, just ask him, but all in all, I have been blessed to know so many and to find in how many ways they can disagree. You put all their knowledge in the blender, start out full-speed-ahead and then realize, you need to slow it down to blend, and when you hit that speed that works for you, do it but just be consistent....See MoreLapLink - Does it really work?
Comments (4)Most programs will need to be installed fresh in the win8.. can't simply transfer a program especially things like Office from an old version to new. Maybe you have some simple single executable programs that could be moved, but I seriously doubt laplink will do any installs. You can move files surely, but you can move them maybe for less expense on a simple usb memory stick or just stick your old hard drive into a portable hd usb enclosure for $20 or so and have them avail as needed. ..... .... You might also want to just open yourself a Hotmail or outlook.com account and upload your files into OneDrive. Then when you go online win8.1 it comes with OneDrive as default so it will be just simple moving some files around - like magic you'll have your old files on the new computer. Comments (8)I'm not interested in taking over that particular memorial. I had only met my great aunt two or three times. She lived too far away for me to get to know her real well. I knew more about her from other relatives. I was actually looking at FAG for my dd to show her that her middle name has been passed down from at least four other generations. I only have seven memorials under my name. Those are a set of grandparents, a set of great-grandparents and then then some relatives that died as babies or didn't have any direct descendants. I'm still working on biographies for them. I've realized no one else will probably have the information and interest to record it. I'm writing what I can. I try not to do just names and dates. I'm including the family lore and recording it as such. People do look at it with interest. I went to a family reunion last month. Someone showed up with their genealogy research information. It kept looking really familiar to me. Then they pulled out the FAG biography I had written for my great grandfather and some birth, death, etc., documents I had found and paid to get twenty years ago. Some had notations in my handwriting. This individual had my great grandmother's bible and a few official documents I'd never seen. My cell phone has a good camera so I was able to get good pictures and pass them on to my dadand his siblings through email. I filled in a few blanks I've had....See MoreFungus Gnat Control That Really Works
Comments (10)Gnatrol (https://www.valent.com/Data/Labels/2012-GNT-0001%20Gnatrol%20WDG%20-%20form%2004-6746%20R3%20&%2004-6747%20R3.pdf) has the same active ingredient (Bacillus thuringiensis bacterial spores) but is formulated specifically as a soil drench for potted plants. I do not know if it is more expensive to use than the Mosquito Dunks. By the way, fungus gnats are indicative of a medium whose surface has not been allowed to dry. I rarely get them and only on the 5-1-1 medium and never on the gritty mix. They are relatively harmless and are just a nuisance....See More- 6 years ago
