If it is the same formula from a year or so, the Clorox wipes actually have NO BLEACH in them at all if you are thinking if the bleach might harm the granite. I needed a bleach in a wipe at that time and I just assumed it did and was quite surprised when it did not. So it is probably safe since it (still?..check the ingredients to be sure) does not contain actual bleach. There was even small print on the label that says it did not contain bleach. Not sure what kind of 'disinfectant' it was or if it would have a reaction to your stone and/or sealer, so testing what you have is probably the best solution.

Sin, I was thinking the same. Often when people use cchlorine bleach its in a hot load since its whites, and the door won't open at the proper time to add these crystals. Not to mention they are water activated so the crystals put in the drum on wet clothing would not be good, and disolving them first would be a pain. On the other hand they have a longer shelf life. But still they would be fine for whitening but they are too weak to disinfect. I wouldn't use them for kitchen and bath either, think about it, why would anyone use chlorine in the bath and kitchen, to disinfect. I would think for anyone that just wants to use this for whitening, there's always the Clorox Gentle Care, I think it was Sparky that recommended this before, its a weaker formula but will whiten. The bottle says for TL&FL washers add 5 minutes after wash cycle starts, that's just wrong, too much contact time and the enzymes will be useless before they even get started. Does anyone remember if this was the same bleach directions Clorox used years ago before enzymes were a part of detergent?

Cleaning is more important than disinfecting in most areas of the home. If you don't clean first then the disinfectant properties of the solution are weakened. If you clean properly not much should be left behind to disinfect anyway. Soap and water beaks down the virus. It emulsifies so it can be removed. I only use disinfecting wipes as a shortcut to wiping up a meat prep area or the toilet seat. I see no reason to go around disinfecting the entire house since we are already sheltered in place and not having outside visitors. We wash our hands more frequently and are mindful of cross contamination. But we don't have to disinfect against our own bacteria. I do wipe, the entry door knobs when after we come from somewhere if we haven't been able to wash our hands. I give my keys and cell a wipe at night the same time I clean my hearing aid. Basic hygiene, nothing special really. As for restaurants they need to train to clean, not just swipe over things. Changing out bar towels and making sure to wipe away things instead of just stirring things around. The same things i see people who wipe down their grocery carts do. Spreading the germs instead of wiping them off and way. Funny I still see people in masks and gloves put their kids in the food basket area of grocery carts. People are strange. No one says boo about it. It makes me cringe.
