Clorox non-disinfecting liquid bleach. What's up with that?

Stripped grocery shelves are the norm for some items nowadays and bleach is one of them. I usually by the cheapest store brand. The last time, Clorox was the only bleach on the shelf. I used it a couple of times then noticed in tiny print ON THE BACK LABEL, "Not for sanitization or disinfection. To sanitize or disinfect use Clorox Disinfecting Bleach." Oh really? One of the main reason people buy liquid bleach is to disinfect. For Clorox not to have a clearly informative FRONT label is outrageous.
