Sorry, I am not a Zoo lover. I know that zoo's are better than they used to be, but I still think that people belong in zoos, not animals.

Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Ubud Indonesia. This kind of zoo I like. They have acres to roam, yet they're cared for. Note: The same one they went to in The Amazing Race. They will steal your sunglasses, your camera....they are rogue! They have 3 Hindu temples. All constructed in the 14th century.

The last time I was at a zoo was in San Diego back in the early 1980's. The closest I can come to a zoo photo are these parrots that lived in a sort of enclosure at a port stop in Cartegena, Columbia. The parrots were free to come and go, but they seemed to mostly hang around. I'm guessing they stayed because of all the food that was available to them.

For anyone who might ever cruise (who knows when that might be), this area that Dawn showed is right at the end of the pier. Very convenient, next to their gift shop and coffee shop.

Cincinnati has a world renowned zoo and botanical gardens. It's a great place that I try to go to at least once a year. It is shut down right now because of the virus and because of that we are missing the Zoo Blooms. For once our weather has been just great, the flowers are fantastic but the public cannot come inside. :(
