Comments (3)I realize your post was basically 7 months ago so you have probably already sealed your counter top but in the off chance you have not, read these threads that talk about different products to get our organic stains (I think acetone is what is recommended in that case) and also, Dawn has something in it akin to grease in it that is a post-cleaning moisturizer that can cause cloudy-type stains in porous quartzite. https://forum.stonefabricatorsalliance.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26044&hilit=quartzite&start=50 https://www.houzz.com/discussions/5303790/removing-stain-from-quartzite https://www.houzz.com/discussions/4862644/white-macaubus-quartzite-stained?n=30 And then if and after you get the stain out, use Miracle Sealants Company 511 Impregnator Sealer... can be purchased on amazon or wherever online: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BC0E4HM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Perhaps it's too late to help you but maybe it can help someone else....See MoreQuartzite stains from install?

Comments (6)That's probably a porous quartzite; I'm betting that's a stain, not an etch. Google some soap stain poultices please. Have them come back, drill for a soap dispenser, install same, and keep those bottles off your top, because it's unlikely you'll seal your way out of this problem....See Morewilson853
