changing basement stairwell door to french doors?
Comments (7)Ok I know this is an old post of mine but does anyone know where in the world 15" wide double french doors (to fit a 30 inch opening) can be found? Home depot has bifolds but I don't want bifolds. I'm looking for ones similar to those posted by lagrant at the bottom of this thread. Comments (7)I would look at large 'simple' posters for this space, preferably something that resonates with your family. Movies,sports,animals, birds,art,festivals,countries,endless possibilities.... If you can tie in to the colourway or style below, all the better. A two or a three stack would work. So could a multiplicity of album covers. So could some framed wallpaper as below. Basically, graphic and personally pleasing. Using art ledges might be easier than hanging ,btw. I'd probably ignore the "shelf" allowing the floating images to do the decorating. Comments (12)I hope you do have some overhead lighting, and also those sconces would have too much lower, like the picture above to really be functional. Then comes projection, you need something that is fairly flush to the wall, the staircase in the picture is wider than yours with fewer turns.
