HELP! Can anyone help edit these exterior photos?
Anyone have any awesome photoshop skills to edit these photos? We want to do the entire house a light grey (all siding and brick), white trim, keep the dark brown roof and pillars in the front, white garage doors, white front door, and bronze accents such as lights to tie in the brown roof. Any photo edits would be so appreciated to help visualize! Thank you!

Comments (19)Chuckerfly After finding that the photo I was trying to post is is only 1.4MB, I reread your post and tried again but taking it slower in case I'd missed something previously. It still didn't work despite doing something else while it might be downloading. But what has confused me is..... When I click the Camera icon (or Houzz Photo icon), I get four choices of where to get my image from, none of them being my gallery. One is my camera, one a camcorder and 2 others. So I've been getting to my gallery via the camera option. I then find the photo I want and select it, but nothing happens. If this was Facebook, a text message or email, once it's selected it goes back to where you're posting it into. So I go back and there is often a little green circle going round and round as if it's taking a while to download or the internet isn't responding. Comments (8)Where do you live, in general? Do you get lots of snow? I would remove the overhang for sure. I would also remove the carport if possible, or perhaps reposition it to the left, although I can't see what is there past the left of your picture-looks like the concrete pad extends to the side which is where I would put the carport. If you do ask yardvaark (he does have terrific ideas), he will request a view from further out in order to see that part of the yard. If you can move the carport, then you could add a porch across the front of your home, although just adding landscaping across the front would be great....See MoreCan anyone help me source these pendants? Comments (7)I wasn't clear in my original post - I may need to start again. We have a variety of fruit trees and bushes, berries and a large vegetable garden in the back. I'm not anti garden maintenance - I just tend to neglect the front yard because it never seems to look good no matter what I do (and I tend to prioritize puttering in the back with all the food producing stuff. We have run out of back yard space for fruit trees and at the same time I would like to add some taller trees/bushes at the front of our yard to create a bit of privacy as we are replacing some mirrored windows at the front and everyone walking by will have a full view into our front room. I was thinking if we had a nice looking garden along the road that we could then squeeze in a few more fruit trees in the front yard - but I would also like the yard to look nice. I am horrible with design and I'm hoping to get some ideas for a garden area with some height along the front of the yard, as well as some opinions on if I can get away with adding fruit trees along the driveway, walkway and front of the house (right side), or if this would just look strange. hard to really see the roof color. you want to stay away from cooler, blue grays and go w/grays in the brown/black family.
I like Urbane Bronze or Black Fox for the darker tones. What's on there currently looks black. I think you could go w/a slightly lighter tone on your trim. it's very overpowering because of the bulkiness of it overall.
I'd also do some pruning of all those shrubs and pine tree
BTW, you can use this color snap yourself to visualize.
any of these combos could work. black fox w/Respose,,maybe a creamy white
These grays are more in the taupe family. just depends on your roof color. you'll have to get samples.
This might look nice too. the two on the right.As for you brick, use Romabio Masonry. 20 yrs guarantee with very little maintenance. you can have it tinted to any color

4 years agoyou can also stain your brick, but w/your mottling, I don't know if it would work.
I like how they did the two-tone here though. I would go darker on your brick, lighter siding, and find a trim color that compliments both
you could also try Romabio Limewash to see if that looks good. try a sample on small part. it washes off w/in 72 hours if you don't like it

You wouldn't do shutters, but you could do some cedar shake on the gable above the two upper windowsbad photoshop. but you can see the life it adds to the colors. of course w/the brick all one shade it will look better.
doesn't have to be shake either. could be the same siding but in a cedar or faux cedaror use a real wood slat. (bad example, but you get the idea)
here the stone is very light washed gray against the darker trim work. notice the black windows.
you'd have to use your imagination on this one. imagine the brick is a lighter gray. (your's would be darker but your siding color would be lighter than this one)
every home needs a gargoyle.
