Comments (27)Jasper looks handsome, as always! Vaccumfreak, did you find real fleas anywhere on/around him? I found tiny black spots under Nikita's chin once, and freaked out thinking it was flea residue. It was acne I guess, and disappeared once she was bathed and scrubbed carefully under the chin. Our vet gave us an antibiotic cream to put on a boil she got on her lower lip once (that probably was flared up acne too). I use a lil dab of it on her chin sometimes and that seems to keep the acne at bay. I guess I'm really lucky that Nikita and Simba love bathtime. I bathe them once a month and they seem to like hot water rahter than lukewarm. Max is OK as long as water doesn't touch his face. Simba loves to sit on my shoulder when I'm in the shower; I don't relish that one bit LOL he's just such a big baby....See MoreUh oh,,, I hope I don't buy more of MY obsession on CL
Comments (18)From the looks of the pic above. I'd say our houses might be of similar vintage. Do you know when yours was built? I look the more 'formal' ones like yours, too, but old pine has had my number for a long time.... I wish that my upstairs vanity had been pine (as the seller noted on CL) but it turned out to be poplar, so didn't take stain quite like I had hoped. The pieces above are in my area, so I hope to hear back from the seller soon. I hate it when something is just posted, but you never get a reply from the seller. I saw this last month, and wrote a few times, but never heard back. I'd sell something I have now to be able to get this! Look at the grain of the wood in the bottom photo. Here is a link that might be useful: antique stepback secretary...See MoreUh-oh --- "Polar Plunge" coming
Comments (20)I was watching with envy last night as the rain was going through Northern Central Florida. In the Orlando area we only got a sprinkle. This was the first day since late last winter that I've gone outside in the morning and not seen any butterflies. I think it will be warm enough later on. I'm hoping that the cold spell will send down some hummingbirds our way. Right now I'm going to go for a swim and not looking forward to it because of the cold....See Morechisue
