ID purple wildflower

Flowering right now in the Wash DC area. About 5-6 inches tall. The leaves look a lot like dicentra but wild bleeding heart grows taller and is more pink.

Corydalis.

maybe Corydalis incisa.

I agree, Corydalis incisa. Very pretty but very, very weedy. I've been trying to rid myself of it for years.

TYVM for the reply! Having trouble finding confirming images, just a bunch of flickr and blogs. If you or anyone else could share a URL of a reliable source of images, I would appreciate it very much. Surprised there's no Clinopodium on uswildflowers.com for AL or FL. USDA plants lists several present in both states, but no images for the ones I looked at. It's so cute, and not too small to go unnoticed by anyone looking for wildflowers.

I'm in Metuchen and commute to Hunterdon County, and have noticed them, too! My favorite is along Rt. 78, between 287 and Lebanon. They have beautiful purple and white wildflowers, that kind of look like poppies, growing all along the median. They haven't started blooming yet, but it's nice to see them!
