When we were Idaho, we stayed at a B&B that was a former school house. They left some of the artifacts around including the chalkboard in our room.

Shadow....one of my rescues. She ran thru an auction with her mother, and they were bought by a kill buyer. Her mother shipped to slaughter in Mexico. I bought her to be company to another filly, also in the kill pen. Shadow was about 3 months old.

Pegasus, was your ‘spider’ part of a Lego display? We had one at our Botanical Garden a few years ago and it was very popular and well done. I seem to recall seeing many unusual ones at Downtown Disney outside the LEGO store years ago. It’s not Downtown Disney any longer and I forget what they call it now. Disney Springs or something?

Studio - This is where I paint and make jewelry. I love spending time in this room.

The workbench is a narrow old door that I salvaged from a construction project and painted blue. Hubby mounted it to the wall. There are now lamps on the workbench and I threaded the cords of the lamps that are now on the table through that so that there aren't untamed cords all over my work area.

One wall was cinder block. I wanted the pattern of the blocks to show through and used two colors of paint (chocolate brown and light mocha) to highlight the pattern. I also wanted color in this room and painted one wall bright robin egg blue - it's the same blue as the table.

The door is one of my favorite features in the studio. The paint on this wall looks orange, but it's the same shade light mocha that was used on the bricks and the wall the table is mounted to. One of these days, I hope to replace the carpet. It was already there and hubby wouldn't cooperate on that point.

Soup. This would taste good today, it's so cold. I wish I had some.

That's how I learned it in high school, but I can't remember whether I was a sophomore or a junior. At this point, it is difficult for me to remember high school. In college I took theoretical calculus as a freshman, and we had to do a lot of proofs. After that, I took no more math classes and switched my major from physics to English and German literature. My physics professor as a freshman was Dr. Rorschach, the brother of the man who invented the Rorschach ink blot test. When I took that test as a freshman in college, my psychologist told me that the test revealed that I had repressed emotions, as I made no interpretations based on color; i.e., all my responses were based on shapes, regardless of the colors in the inkblots.

Remember what romney said? There are things you know you know and things you know you don't know, but what can hurt you is what you don't know that you don't know. I always thought he left out the most important one...the things you think you know that you got wrong.

Donald Rumsfeld, when Secy of Defense under Bush, spoke not long after 9/11 about the known knowns, the known unknowns, and went on to say that it was the unknown unknowns that worried him. If Romney used this phrasing, it may not have been original with him.
