Kitchen Remodel Help with Brazilian Cherry Floors

Please help! We are updating our kitchen that has Brazilian cherry floors and I’m having trouble selecting a countertop. I selected white shaker cabinets and the appliances are staying for now. I’m trying to figure out if the counter top we choose needs to have warmth in it to tie in the color of the floors? I saw a slab of Taj Majal quartzite today that I thought was very nice. It has some warmth and also some grey that would tie in the appliances. I haven’t gotten a price yet so it may be out of our range. I do like a look that is less busy than most granite. White kitchens do appeal to me. I was also thinking of doing a white subway or arabesque tile for a backsplash. The looks that I like are usually transitional. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on specific countertops or backsplashes? I’m open to anything at this point. But, I’m thinking a very simple quartz or quartzite may be the direction we need to go
