Gate ornaments...one of my collections. I have about 30 of them. All kinds of dogs, horses, birds, squirrels, ducks, and an alligator, and others.

This one is on my front gate.

This G was on the storm door of our first house. It was the last name of the previous owners and it is ours as well. The house was built in 1956 and I assume this storm door was installed shortly after. When we replaced the door in the 1970s, we kept the ornament and it hangs on the wall of our current home.

tiger eye, others have asked when they wonder where a photo was taken. It's ok. No one necessarily knows where every pic was taken, and sometimes people are reluctant to say if they don't want to reveal too much about their location for whatever reason. You've made a fine suggestion. Your question was answered. No need to shout. Take a breath.

The intention is that these photo threads be havens of calm in an otherwise stormy world.

raven, your giraffe pic was like an Escher for me...I thought the one on the right was in front and then couldn't figure out where its head went! Too many legs, not enough heads!

Lol I had the same problem Annie. And I took the pictures. Last time we went to the zoo the mother had the baby while we were there. This time the baby is almost as big as mom.

This shows the baby a little better.

I have a giraffe today also. There is a great picture of four of our giraffes, all different sizes and ages but I didn't take it. So here is my picture of one of the adults.

I'm also glad that you are back and in good shape now, Annie! What a response today!!
