Familyroom wall decor dilemma... Help :)
Comments (2)Maybe something similar to this. Your other piece of art needs to be centered. Is it possible to pull the couch away from the wall a bit and get it out of the corner?...See Morewall decor dilemma
Comments (6)Shelves just have to be balanced and appropriately sized art would do the trick. A modern piece with rust, grey and black would look great in room. May want to tape out size on wall to define the right size. Items hung too high are a pet peeve of mine 🥴, so had to comment. The four prints ending up so close to ceiling are way too high and I’d move them down about 6 or so inches. The prints over couch are also too high and again 6 inches would make them feel more connected....See MoreDecorating dilemma- 3 sided fireplace
Comments (2)I’m not a pro. I would remove everything. It’s just too…much. Try one piece of art on each of the two full walls. On the end wall under the arch, leave it empty. To create a better balance and scale of the art above the mantle, remove the gold oval frame that is further along the first side. Do a mock-up to determine the size of art that works. I’d try the size of the glass below on your fireplace, cut a piece of newsprint or brown paper. If you think each room has a lot of art and you don’t want to add more, then I would look for a simple tall pair or trio of black iron candlesticks for one side and the clock for the other and call it a day....See MoreFoyer decor dilemma- what decor should I put in this doorbell niche?
Comments (9)Any contractor can simply eliminate the niche with a couple studs and dry wall. Hang a picture, hang a pretty mirror. .....paint the door bell chime above wall color . If there's room in the foyer elsewhere for the lidded bench? Put a tall plant there and nothing on the wall. Failing that? Go to an auto glass and mirror shop with dimensions, and have a 1/8" mirror cut/polished to fit right in it.. A few dabs of silicone and you're done. It's a narrow mirror above a seat and shoe storage. .Show the whole foyer from another angle........add a pic or two...See Moregrapefruit1_ar
