Paint Color for my Kitchen Walls
Comments (5)This is all budget friendly and simple stuff that doesn't require much heavy lifting. Since you're looking to lighten up that corner I would start by painting most of your walls in a very light gray colour and make sure all the trims and doors are all in a white semi gloss. Then I would carry it over into the dining area by painting the wood paneling in a white wash to keep the texture. In my opinion your brown would show throw nicer than this orange wood colour below. Bold could mean anything. I wish I knew you better so I could play with that idea but the right hand wall in the dining room would be a nice place to get bold. Either your favorite wall colour or a funky wall paper. I would also change up your cushions on the chairs and make those lighter too. I'd also add some art. This is not very bold at all but it would lighten the space. Bonus super crude photoshop. stretched out flower framed art from "LoveThePrint" on etsy....See MorePlease help me select a fresh, bright color for my kitchen walls
Comments (12)If you want to brighten up a space get better lighting first before choosing any wall color. If it is in the budget get some pot lights or if not then a good track light with at least 5 heads all the bulbs in either choice should be LEDs 4000K then go to wotk on wall color. Yes I think anew simpler backsplash would be a good start , removing all the clutter the next step nothing on top of the cabinets and as little as possible on the counters will instantly make the space feel brighter .I love a pale gray/ green for a perfect neutral with wood and white trim . Gray Wisp is a good one and if you just want it lighter then cut it 25% i would stay awy from whites or creams for sure....See MoreHelp choosing a wall colour for my kitchen

Comments (12)I would choose, 1,2, or 4 depending on how dark you want the color to be. The others do not go with your flooring at all. The color on the walls right now, does go with the floor, but, I do not like it with your cabinets. It makes the room feel a bit too drab. None of those colors look like sage green to me. Sage green just might be a good color for your room....See MoreSteph
