Comments (38)I have the Cambridge sofa in vintage black. After 3 years it was saggy on one side and had lost quite a bit of leather on the seating area so I contacted them and they replaced it. The new one looks better but they went from a 98" sofa to an 8ft one but when measuring it, it actually measures smaller than 8 ft. I also have noticed that when someone gets off it, the other person can feel it, almost like it's not level or build strong enough, it goes up and down. Hard to explain but we're small people. I actually preferred the saggy, missing leather to the new version. If you can find anywhere else to get what you want in a sofa, do it. Restoration Hardware may look pretty but it's not well made unfortunately....See MoreWeathered Teak Outdoor Furniture
Comments (5)Judie, to restore it to its former glory you'd probably need to sand it. I have a bad back too so I know what you mean. However, if you sand it or get someone to sand it for you I'd think once stained you could hit it with a few coats of poly to protect it. If it's just you to do all the work the easiest thing to do would probably be to wash it off and then spray paint it after it had been dry for a good 7-10 days. Using spray would save your back a lot of extra stress over brushing it....See MoreRestoration Hardware Outdoor Cushions - Good or Bad?
Comments (8)Hello, Sorry for the delay in replying. We did purchase the Restoration Hardware set, the Carmel Sectional and two armchairs. It appears that they have discontinued the sectional. I was assured by our salesperson that the cushions we were purchasing would be of the highest quality and drain well. I was not disappointed. 24 hours after a hard rain our cushions would be dry. I'm a real stickler for quality and I'm very impressed with the quality of the metal, the finish and the cushions. Of note, we had a devil of a time getting what we ordered as part of it (the sectional) had been discontinued. Long story short, RH customer service was EXCEPTIONAL and very focused on making sure we were happy with our purchase. I will certainly purchase from them again adn can recommend their outdoor furniture without reservation. Also, spend $75 on the Membership Card and you will save 25% off your order. We spent over $5000, so it certainly saved us a bundle....See MoreE Evartt
