We need to repaint the exterior of our house and are thinking of changing the color. The current color has faded quite a bit. We are now looking for a color that would not fade as much (most likely a lighter color). However, we don't want a washed out look with the roof in the light beige color. The photo below shows the front of the house currently. The back has a basement that opens out to the back garden. Just to put things into perspective here too, we live in a bit of a valley and the first thing you see when you are approaching the house is the roof!!! You can see part of the road at the top right hand corner. We have some areas that can use accent colors as well, like the corners, columns, porch, window surrounds etc. We were initially thinking of using the Sleepy Blue by Sherwin Williams (screenshot below) with its coordinating colors. But not sure if it will make it too washed out with the roof as well?
