Dentist 2nd opinion

Just got back from my old dentist's office and although I went back this morning to the new dentist's office to get my x-rays sent to my old dentist, some of the films were cut off. I had to get 2 new bite wings today because my old dentist wanted to make sure one tooth wasn't decayed. She didn't charge me for the x-rays because of the circumstance. After an inspection of my teeth, much more thorough than the quick glance the other dentist did, I have no cavities. 0. I'm not surprised.

Talking to the hygienist, afterwards, she told me they see a lot of the other dentist's patients with the same issue. Even her mother was scammed years ago when she first moved to our town. She was told she had 7 cavities!! She then went to my old dentist for a second opinion. No cavities and she said all these years later she still has had none.

How many people's teeth has she damaged over the years? I'm going to call my insurance company too because they were going to be scammed and probably had many times in the past. I don't know if it will do any good. I don't know who else to contact to report her. I looked at the ADA website but I don't see anywhere to complain and she is the first dentist who pops up when I did a search on their website, which only makes me angrier.

I'm also going to make a review on Yelp and their Facebook page. I may even make a post on my Facebook page even though I don't have a lot of friends from this town, there are a few. This is a small town and I thought about contacting the local paper but it's a small town. In fact, when I handed my phone to the business manager at the new office she apparently knew the person on the other end at the old dental office. My first thought was, "oh great..."
