Comments (18)Is this the same book, theresa? We had this one - and I love the illustrations. I'm glad I scanned a bunch of pages from it. We did a lot of gathering around our piano as well. I'm not sure if it survived hurricane Helene or not. I'd need to check, since all our books that made it are in storage boxes now. Sadly, our old piano fell victim to the flooding. I haven't been clicking on these threads for some time, since we've been so preoccupied with the aftermath of the 2 storms. 6 years agoHaven't been to Florida in nearly 20 years. But the bear came by, ripped the tarp off the woodpile and then it snowed before we could cover it again.
6 years agoPhilippo Cobergii bromeliad, popular in Florida. This one is in Teresopolis. I've only been to the Miami airport, to change planes.
6 years agoThis little fellow was coming through my sister-in-law's back yard one morning while I was there visiting. The other is a lake we took a walk to see at sunset.

Today is also Chinese New Year
Sign on door next to our hotel room in Fiji, February 2018 during CNY celebration. The neighbors in this room were extremely noisy🙉
6 years agoSouth Pointe Pier, South Beach, Miami this year. Great snorkeling even though it rained half the time.
Last one until he comes back for spring break. He took the bulk and I bet they were gone a week ago.
