arcy, the purpose of this thread is to show photographs we've taken. It's not about the quality of the photograph as in a photo contest as much as that it is of a subject that we've taken, something in our experience, and want to share. It can be on the "theme of the day," however one might choose to define it, or not.

If one is posting a photo they did not take, then they should note it and credit the photographer.

If you'd like to share a photograph you've taken, it'd be most welcome, but memes and pictures pulled off the net are not appropriate here.

No picture of a hug here, but I did just get a 'hug' over the phone. Our medical insurance includes a 'wellness' phone call from a nurse periodically throughout the year. My caller today was Laura and she had the most pleasant, encouraging and caring voice I have heard in a long time. So this is for Laura..Thank you for brightening my day.

nhbaskets, I hope you were able to figure out a treatment for your dear pup.

Thanks, socks. We went to Angell Memorial in Boston right before Christmas. The oncologist recommended not doing radiation as studies show the regrowth of cancer only occurs 7% of the time. We’re betting on those odds and will bring him back every 3 months to be checked. Best Christmas present ever! Thanks so much for asking.

Nhbaskets my husband is sitting in his chair with our little dog laying on him just like that. Your dog looks similar to Mia.
