Have you purchased any of the shown pieces or painted with any of the colors yet? May we see the room you are working with? What's the lighting situation? That is your first step if you want to get the colors right. Upgrade lights to 3500- 4000K LED's and take photos of where you are now in the process.

I’d wait to buy these after you remove. Seems silly to purchase items that may not work in your new home.

Totally. Haven't moved furniture back up yet so I don't have a picture. Just didn't know if it's an odd choice to put a small circular rug under a desk chair under a larger desk--you know, like how it's standard advice to say to get a larger rug for your living room or one that fully fits your dining room chairs when they're pulled out from the table...I wanted to be sure I wouldn't be committing a design crime or something!

With children and pets, a washable rug is the best choice.
