Then copy the html code of each picture you want to post here and paste it into the body of your message. Comments (10)Yollies-I have three children one married and two away at college, when everyone is home this is the room we are using. I like that everyone is comfortable in the room and enjoy the space. Prior to my room re-do, you don't want to see the before pics (haha), I did'nt have any window coverings on my patio door or the windows flanking the fireplace and did not think I would want any, but I like the warmth and softness they bring to the room. I have faux roman blinds on the windows and panels on the patio door which are normally open for the view. Although I can see the TV from my kitchen table, I can't while at the stove or sink wall, plus are we really watching the TV while cooking or just listening or using it as background noise? Regarding sofas and window coverings, what feel to do want in your room, warm and cozy, cool, light and airy? These decisions will guide your choices regarding colors and fabrics. If your keeping some of the pieces in the room, use those as a starting point to look for upholstery pieces and case goods. If you go the two couch route, look into a large square coffee table, great for playing games and some special display pieces. I love mine, it is on coasters and has two full size drawers to store blankets, pillows and other misc. items. Plus, I always love a sofa table, see pic! Enjoy the process and keep us updated along the way!...See MoreHelp me finish my family room
Comments (4)Maybe the space has a bit too much in it (?) The fireplace and beautiful windows are being blocked by the furniture groupings/tables and plants. A simple edit of what you have might just do the trick. It is such a gorgeous space! Hope that helps!...See MorePillow suggestions to finish family room, PLEASE
Comments (8). Not sure of what pattern to use. Should the pattern mimic the tray's ripples, or should it echo the honeycomb aspect of the peacock. mirror, or be zebra stripe to mimic the nautilus shell pattern or solid light and medium tones to soften the contrast between solid dark sectional or should it be ochre /brassy? The old decor scheme had ikat wall art with color ccoord pillows, so I'm leaning away from that. Re:PICS Sorry, but I can't take a pic, as no memory left. Unable to delete work project pics or send to cloud.. An old realtor listing pic won't be accurate as to elements of the room. Trust me when I say this is a small space that just fits the sectional, with a one solid wall for artwork, one wall for the big tv, and another wall of windows, no rug, no end tables, no lamps, just a coffee table. which is why I created a mood board. I can post pics of what I have. -wall color: -wall art- (four frames surrounding a peacock mirror) shown above -Coffee table- (Chinese leg square shape) shown -windows- cream linen -floor- medium toned -...See MoreTera
