love the new rug, how fun! can you take pics of all four walls to show how the room is organized and what's in it. it looks like there is a built in across from the sectional. it will be helpful to see the overall space.

Theresa I was thinking something like this in front of those windows but do you think not enough room? The first pic was originally what the table was intended for.

hard for me to tell, but there may be and what a cute idea. did you try putting two chairs there to see how it feels. the little table you have there would I think need to be bigger to function for the two chairs that you may add.

tera, I want to correct a comment. I said add a red leather chair but looking closer I dont think red is in the rug, I thought it was... a multicolor denim stripe or another color from the rug would be cute. even a carmel colored leather would be cute.

Love the chair! I put another chair on these spots to see how it feels and I moved the couch up. I guess my 6yr old has more decorating sense than I because she had moved the couch up over Christmas!

yeah, love the chair too and the style. I personally like it in the window and would get a second one. I think a larger chair more loungie chair should go in the other area. that one is a bit small I think for the area. I also like the sofa moved up but I think you should move the rug up to closer to the tv area. do you like the sofa moved up?

I like the chairs more. I see more actual use for chairs vs the loveseat. kids can sit in the chairs and play games, do homework, assuming you get a table to go between them. the loveseat feels less usable, adorable, but not as practical. does that loveseat come in chairs?

I saw your idea book and saw all the bright colors you like. love your style. what about a couple bright yellow chairs in that style of the loveseat.

Open to brighter. Was trying to pull colors from rug either in the blue, yellow or orange.

the styles I am most drawn to are the lower barrel back and the taller channel back like the one you had put in place in front of your window to see if it worked. color wise I like yellow or blue. what are your favorites? not sure if you are into this, but have you thought about going to antique or thrift shops and finding a couple chairs that you could recover. I am going to be recovering a channel back chair for our bedroom. it was a chair that my husband got from his grandmother. definitely more work in making decisions, but it will be something unique.

Yes that is where I got the grey chair and wish they had another! I always keep my eyes open for what I can find but unsure how to go about getting them recovered. We live in a smaller town but will ask around.

I think orange works too, but I think you may want arms on the chair for comfort. as for the 2 windows, I think a rattan roman shade or a white one with a bright border, possibly a navy or orange border, would fun. a couple visuals to see. the looks.
