Kitchens Paint Design Dilemma

I CAN NOT decide on a kitchen cabinet color. I like white cabinets, but I also like the darker colors on the lower cabinets as well, but I do not like it when the cabinets are both black and white ?( at least none that I have seen so far) I am open to any suggestions.
PLEASE HELP! Drop your pictures int he comments and its be extra helpful if you have a paint color name/brand. Thank you!

Is that cabinet door a gray? It's too muted for my taste. Find something crisp.

I love walnut and white kitchens but I like slab doors and thar combo works best with a contemporary style. Maybe some more info as to your style. With all the angles I am assuming you are leaning toward contemporary. What is your flooring? You could also do all white with a walnut island counter. Do you have the plan already to go? What does your KD think. Please do not let your architect design your kitchen.

I might be too late but I would second the Pale Oak. I was having the same dilemma with gray colors and found Edgecomb Grey is a little warm for stainless steel appliances and stainless trim. Gray Owl is a great color for just the kitchen but probably not with the Edgecomb in your other rooms. Balboa Mist is a lighter, slightly more gray version of Edgecomb. If you want something interesting, a contrasting version of gray would be Wickham but that's kind of bold. Here's a photo of them together. (I go crazy with the paint chips. lol)

Also, some lights are yellow-ish and some are referred to as “daytime lights.” Switching to daytime lights completely transformed our living room (for the better)

Best to show the whole space/ how much wall ? what is floor? I wouldnt worry that much about darkening your space . Sometimes the whites need a little contrast... or at least a bit into Medium neutrals. Can’t tell how much and where are the wall surfaces. The teensy bit of floor in pic looks yellowish which may accentuate the mauve of lower cabs . Is floor to be redone? If cabs have been painted , and a good thorough job, consider a new floor esp if layout would make it simple and not pricey. This could make a difference.

Visited BM with wallpaper sample. Staff suggested Antique Jade which looked reasonable in store but reads too mint in kitchen on sample board. So I tried BM Color Capture feature on their app, snap photo of darker green in wallpaper and then selected paler color down the spectrum. BTW, feature was accurate using iPhone, not so much with iPad. Ended up with Grey Mirage which I’ll sample this weekend. Interesting that it looks sort of mushroom which was what I was going for months ago before going green. It’s a journey.

I just finished installing two all black kitchens and all I can say is be prepared to see EVERYTHING! Any imperfections in the paint will be highlighted once you turn on the recessed lighting. One kitchen was custom cabinetry and the other was an import - expect maintenance either way you go.

I also just finished an all white kitchen - again, custom cabinets, and when I could I had extended stiles to keep vertical seams to a minimum. However, same complaints - white shows everything!

Another fabulous kitchen that I did this past summer was complete custom with a lot of structural details, straight in-set in Alabaster with an Alder stained island - my personal favorite.

Of course I'm just talking color combinations - the style of your house I suspect you'll lean more towards the Shaker door/full overlay or frameless - this particular client had a very traditional style home and preferred the inset style of construction. I also think if you were to choose white or soft white and kept the black to the island only you would achieve the look you seem to be leaning towards.
