Comments (65)WOW! Thank you for bringing my thread to 'life' again! I haven't been on here in awhile and I was thrilled to see it pop up again! Thank you! The room still looks the same, just more baby toys! But I am having a party in a few weeks and I would like to spruce it up! lmayer- I have been trying to decide for the last few months about the window treatments and I am leaning more toward roman shades and I think a nice splash of color would be nice...any ideas? I can't part with the spiral votive holder...I decided to somewhere else in the house. katy texas- oh, I just LOVE that print...I had no idea they had a poster of it! This makes it MUCH more affordable for me!!! I'll show hubby. neesie- fabulous idea! Thanks. It just looks SO bare especially since we still haven't purchased any doors or screens for it yet. I would LOVE to get some more ideas from everyone, I'm having SUCH a hard time with this room. It's getting there though.......See MoreAwkwardly places windows - window treatment suggestions?
Comments (18)We had Silhouettes in our last Philly house and I didn't love them. Do people not like those wood slat blinds anymore? Have they gone out of vogue? I do like the idea of a fabric blind a lot. Hopefully we can find some options that will work with the paint color. So hard!! Graywings - the paint color is Wedgewood Gray - we've used it before (with wood blinds now I think about it) and love the color. This is the 3rd house we've had a Wedgewood Gray bedroom in. We're such creatures of habit. Lol. Here it is in our Hoboken house. Do you like it with these blinds? Or not enough color?...See MoreNeed window treatment suggestions for 5-part bay window, please
Comments (14)I like the idea of using drapes and thanks for the pic @valinsv and I will probably be stealing your bay window look with the candles etc. it looks great. Our living room is tiny and I have noticed that since I removed the vertical blinds, the room feels so much bigger than before, which is why I wanted to go with something mounted inside the window. Do you guys think that using the drapes will make the room feel small again, or will using the inside mount blinds, make it even worse? The drapes across the window will certainly make my life a whole lot easier. Someone had also mentioned traverse rods which I had never heard of. I have looked into them, but I am not sure if it is a solution I would like since it seems as though I will have to use the little hooks on my blinds. Has anyone ever used them, and if so any thoughts? Thanks for the tip on the handles, I will look for them the next time I am at Lowes. Thanks!...See MoreNeed suggestion for window treatment In Greatroom.
Comments (1)Try posting on the Home Decorating Forum. This Windows forum is more about the actual windows. Though I personally prefer the curtain rod to be closer to the ceiling. http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/decor...See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
