Someone telling on the radio a few days ago of his experiences in an indigenous training experience said that when he learned the technique of how to make fire by rubbing sticks together, it made such an impression on him that he'll take it much more seriously whenever he starts a fire from now on.

P.S. That one participant, while nurturing that first tiny little ember in a small nest of shavings in his hand, and carefully, slightly blowing on it, held it too long before transferring it to a larger amount of combustibles, so that he burned his hand slightly.
