Oh my, these are all so funny and some of them are so true. The saying-what-I-should-have-said in the shower is so me.

Do regular dogs see police dogs and think, “Oh no, it’s the fuzz!” Sometimes you feel like no one is there for you. But you know who is always there for you? Laundry! Laundry will always be there for you. My favorite childhood memory is not paying bills. I hate it when someone asks me to watch their stuff while they’re gone. What if someone comes along and actually tries to steal it? Do I have to fight them? I did not train for that! Mental note: Actual notes work better. A shout out to all who got through yesterday without having to take a nap. Y’all pulled an all-dayer. High Five! Me: I want to travel this year. My bank account: Where? The back yard?

I moved from the city to a very small town (250 people!) in a rural county. Each little town had a ”social’ column in the weekly newspaper. Or maybe it was a weekly column in the daily paper. We rented a house and directly across the street was our town’s column reporter. We didn’t know anyone in town, but our friends from elsewhere visited frequently on weekends. The INSTANT our friends would pull out of the driveway, she would be on the phone wanting to know who visited, from where, what we did! I tried to discourage her because there was no one reading that column who would know us or care about our social life. She was relentless. After living pretty anonymously in a large city, the invasion of privacy was disturbing. We also shared a party phone line with her. I was SO happy to move!
