6 years agoBrother in law installed one of those camera door bells and has one on the back door too--he has been AMAZED at the wild life that set that camera in motion!! The neighbors say we have fox about but this is a wild as it gets in my back yard.

When done with them, many people abandon them in the streets, on sidewalks, in parking lots, etc., instead of returning them to the bike stands. Comments (31)We have A LOT of windows in this house! Our kitchen faces towards the mountains. I keep pots of red geraniums and basil on my window sills in here. I took a few off so that you could better see the view. That pointed thing in the foreground of the second pic is a fountain with a winter cover on it. 6 years agoA number of years ago, my sister had a fox family make a den under her shed. Mom and Dad had 5 kits and it was a lot of fun to watch them. We were told that a fox makes multiple dens and moves around from den to den. We watched as one of the parents sat under the pine tree and then suddenly leaped straight up and snatched a bird right off the branch!! Amazing. They stayed a couple of weeks and then moved on.
6 years agoWe have foxes here; one of them left his calling card on the deck the other day, but I haven't been able to get any photos. I am posting a photo of their coyote cousin instead:

Visitor at the front door. We see a lot of different wildlife on the camera but most frequently it's a possum. Several kitty cats lately too.
When we lived in Denver we had several foxes that lived on the property. The silver ones were gorgeous.
6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoWe have a pair of foxes but I’ve never been able to photograph them.
But I did hang a new feeder for the finches and Squirrel Buster - we have plenty of squirrels.
