I don't think that my husband has yet, he just now got the mailer that talks about how much money you can make for the year if you are not of full retirement age. It always goes up a tiny bit each year. I did see something interesting, it appears that as of 2020, if you are of full retirement age, there is no long an income limit. I think that will be helpful for some people that have high paying jobs and decided not to take SS yet because of the limited income you can receive in your job wages.

EDIT: I just asked my husband and he HAS gotten it, it's on the back of that letter I just mentioned. He claims that he also got this as a message at his on line account. So go to your on line account and check your messages!

Jim just got his in yesterday's mail. Mine came last week. It might be mailed out according the week that you get paid each month.

I get that information on the SS site, under 'My Social Security'. Laceyvail have you checked there?

Yes, DH got his last week.

They mail them out in batches (well, used to anyway) so don't worry too much,

plus with the heavy Christmas mailings they might not be as prompt. And,

sadly, if you have a mail person like I have...expect it about the 1st of June. ;)

And you, can always contact them by phone if you don't want to use the

on-line, if you need to.

I am notified by email...received that almost 2 weeks ago and with a follow up hard copy in my mail last week. A whopping big 1.6% COL increase.........yahoo, will that ever make a big difference. Not!

I opted in to email notifications. I received the notice before Thanksgiving. I don't receive mail notices.

For everyone who has received their notices in the mail -- was it the same week your benefits were paid? That's according to your birthday day of the month.

My date is tomorrow, so hoping it will be in today or tomorrow's mail. But it's never been this late in December before.

This is also my benefit week but as I stated, I received email notification at least 2 weeks ago and a snail mail copy last week. There may or may not be any correlation. You can also go online to check....and you can do a one time sign in if you prefer.

Truly, receiving the data electronically makes everything so much simpler. And I think you can request text messaging in place or in addition to email.

It's not alphabetical, I know that. As I said, I got mine a week ago (my benefit week) and my husband got his yesterday (his benefit week).

I got mine at the beginning of the month, when I get my check. The right hand (COLA) gave me an increase, the left hand (Medicare) took half of it.

Same for me as Ken though my Medicare increase was about one third. Checks at month end, letter ten days ago.

Ours have not arrived yet. Looks to me as though the COLA increase is 1.6%. Medicare Part B is up just under 1%.

I got my letter last week, but my wife has not gotten her's yet and it making her antsy. We are experiencing delays with our insurance cards also. We both are signed in with the same provider, but only one of us has gotten next year's card. Someone is not doing their job!
