Today's Breakfast - What'd you have?
Comments (30)Oh Carol those are really cute pancakes! Today I had a piece left over from my pizza making yesterday....mine was a vegetable tart, a recipe from Mallorca where I used to live. It's a sort of a ratatouille tart and tastes even better the next day. I usually have some whole grain toast, fruit or yoghurt and a black coffee but it's nice to eat something different for a change. SharonCb...See MoreWhat's for breakfast today?
Comments (61)Artemis, I make overnight steel cut oats about 3 time's a week thru the cold weather for the boys. Simple... 1 cup steel cut oats 4 cups water Add them to the slow cooker/crock pot, stir, cover, cook on low overnight. If you want to add cinnamon wait until right before serving or the cinnamon tends to stick around the edge of the crock and burn. You could add finely diced apples, dried fruit, or nuts night before. Comments (33)Sunday morning is when the 3 of us sit down to have breakfast together. We rotate every week between French toast, waffles, pancakes (different ones - blueberry, cottage cheese, buckwheat), crepes, eggs with homemade muffins, cinnamon buns, raisin bread. All served with sausage or bacon or ham and fruit. Son has local Martinelli's apple juice and DH and I have coffee. After having such a big breakfast, I just have a yogurt for lunch. I am glad we only do this once a week, I couldn't eat like that every day....See MoreBreakfast Today

I didn't expect the doctor to be able to straighten it, but he did. I quit the pain pills and never looked back. I didn't have breakfast. I went out early to fill bird feeders and feed the squirrels. Fed horses, worked on my rose cuttings....and just came in. Trying to decide what I want. Will probably cook something substantial because I think Jody is going to go do some work on the shrimp boat. I just haven't figured out what yet. I would like some chicken and dressing...I usually cook something I am hungry for. Jody says he doesn't care what I cook.....so.......See Moreseagrass_gw Cape Cod
