Comments (3)The house is a traditional style but I lean more contemporary so the furniture is more like that. There is an office on the opposite side of the foyer, which I’ll paint the same color as the dining room, most likely. The kitchen is a light gray. Comments (47)If you use round end tables, use a rectangular or square coffee table. Printed drapes in the dining room are fine with solid drapes in the living area. For your chairs, I would stick to green/camel OR red/camel. You can keep your sofa as the one red item in the room and just use touches of red in art or accessories. Comments (8)I believe you can paint a fireplace "stove" like that with special paint that holds up to the heat with something lie high temperature stove paint. I think it needs a high temperature primer first. But it can be done fairly quickly if you decide the color interferes with your vision....See MoreAllie
