Need Printer Recommendations
Comments (22)I have owned three Epsons and while they were superior to the print output of an HP I was able to try at home, I too noticed the ink dries quickly in them if you don't print often. I also found they were not very intuitive setting up for printing on 4"x6" photo paper. That may have changed/improved since I used my Epson (7+ years ago) but I still want to avoid one because of the ink issue. I'm going to do some comparisons with Canon and HP printers today and make a decision soon I hope. I am in the process of (re)starting my own home-based design business again. I had it for eight years before accepting an offer I couldn't refuse from a high tech company 7 years ago. I left them in September 2012 and wanted to get my travel to Southeast Asia out of the way before I got serious about going back to work....See MorePrinter recommendations
Comments (0)Tired of HP 3in1 printer having paper jams and low on ink. Would a wireless work in closet 30' away? If I stay hard wire I want ink jet with small footprint and primarily used for simple printing and copy on occasion. Want to pay around $100. Any recommendation on brands or models. I am left confused after trying to find a good site for comparisons ....See MorePrinter recommendations?
Comments (6)hi Pam I didn't comment before as I don't know much about printers so wouldn't have felt right in recommending one. Your Hubby sounds like me - I want it and I want it YESTERDAY!! LOL With the inks - I have found a spray called "Crystal Kote" works wonders at preventing smudges or fading. Let your project dry completely before use. I'm in Australia so you might have the same product under a different name so I'll give you the product discription that's on the can. Hope it helps: Dries in seconds to a permanent matt finish for photographs, prints, artwork, drawings, paintings, letterig, crafts etc. Sue :)...See MorePrinter Recommendations Please
Comments (15)DA, I have on many occasion had cartridges dry out. All Three Times were on HP Printers. 1. HP 2000c Professional Series, 2. HP 1100c Professional Series 3. HP 1115p Photosmart. On the Professional Series Printers the Ink Cartridges weren't cheap either! I no longer use HP Products but that goes deeper then Dried Ink Cartridges. Been using Brother Before (Had a Brother HL-1440 B&W Laser) and Since the release of Windows Vista! I use my Brother Printers on a Wireless Network. My Color Lasers aren't wireless but do have LAN Connections. I have 1 at a time wired directly to my Router (other Color Laser is a Backup). My Inkjet is Wireless and no need to be hooked up....See Moreravencajun Zone 8b TX
