Another scrap quilt
Comments (12)That is just precious. I'm just finishing up on a scrap quilt, too. Not one bit of it came from a whole cut of material and not a bit of it was purchased. Most of the scraps I worked with were not more than strips or odd shaped stuff less than eight inches square. Boy, for awhile it seemed like the scrap basket contents were still reproducing themselves, but figured it was just that the scrap pieces were becoming tinier and tinier and fluffed up just took up more room. Mine's a crazy quilt. Thank's to being inspired by Red on a former block lotto. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. Your pandas are so cute. Comments (13)Beverly, If the dryer sheets are the right size I think you could use them just fine - on the other hand....with this block, size doesn't matter so much, you could make the block 7", 6" or 5" just as long as you trim all the blocks to the same size. Start your block with your foundation 1" larger than what size you want it to end up being. I do not know whether the color catcher sheets would work as a foundation or not. Sorry. Comments (18)Oh I love the xylophone idea. We have that collecting unused supplies in spades. And we don't even drink. Missing and Annie, I think the picture frames is a winner too. I have black and white art photos that want to be displayed but the framing needs to be consistent and simple. This wood would fit the bill perfectly. Will for sure save some for repairs. Thanks all....See Moremsmeow
