Paint Flooring Design Dilemma

Need advice for floor & cabinet color

We have these maple cabinets throughout the house, in good condition, so to save money we are keeping as is (with the exception of the kitchen island we would like to paint and need your advice on color). Looking to replace existing tile and carpet throughout home with a luxury vinyl plank (wood look) flooring and need your advice on a neutral light color that will provide flexibility and go with most everything.

- Wall paint color is a green hue (crocodile tears by Valspar I believe)

- Granite counter top is mostly green hue with hint of blue

Need help picking:

- A light neutral vinyl plank floor color

- Paint color for kitchen island cabinet

Not sure why the close up pics but as far as color for floor I would probably go darker with those cabinets and as for the color for the island probably safe to go with a color from the granite like the mossy green

I can't see the condition of the tiles or if they're ceramic. Their color would work with the color you're seeking for the LVT wood planks.
If you want the cohesive look of the new tile throughout, I agree with Patricia.

I just had to make the same decision. Our cabinets are medium dark QS oak and our living and dining furniture are a mixture of everything. Our floors are new white oak and we stained them Minwax Golden Oak and finished them with Bona Traffic. I love the color...on the light side but not too light. I'm not home now, but if you're interested I can take a pic later and post it.

Thanks! We are keeping the floors. We extended our island and added plain wood cabinets for a built in fridge and freezer. All have to be painted. We already have the doors off with the painter. So committed. I love this kitchen, I just wish I knew what color the cabinets are. The post says Wood case White Cabinetry. Any ideas what paint color this would be? Do you think this combo would look nice with our floors?

Hello Patricia, our terra cotta flooring is in the entire living space of our home , it’s in the kitchen, dining room, entry way and living room. We are opening up the kitchen because it currently has a small pass through window to the dining room and the rest of the living space is blocked out.
