Do you have a table pad for your dining room table?
Comments (46)Also got BergerPads in May of 2010, dont remember which of these we got but guessing for a $500 dining 4seat dining set, we went with just the good (especially since I'd only wanted black anyway). Its textured, really like it. We have a new table we'll still get 2nd quote on but will only consider if its significantly lower then the Berger ones for our current table. MAY 2010 For a square cornered table pad 54” x 54” Pricing are as follows: Best – Any Color / Any Bottom – Unconditional Lifetime Warranty $291.60 Better – Any Solid Color / Brown Cotton Bottom Only – 15 Year Warranty $233.28 Good – Black Solid Only / Brown Cotton Only – 5 Year Warranty $174.96 (Prices include $.01 per square inch for the magnets) We Guarantee to meet or beat any reasonable price offer!...See MoreHelp with Choosing a Rug for Under Dining Table

Comments (12)You absolutely need an area rug. Keep the pattern to a minimum, but get something with the slightest bit of the blue wall color, otherwise that wall color makes no sense. Then I would remove those drapery panels, they don't match and they just look messy. I would remove those 4 framed pieces of art, I would not hang art there, there's not enough room and it's not needed with the window, just let the window be the star of that wall. I would stain that sideboard piece a darker color, it looks too dated in the light wood color it is now. And then you need some large art on the walls, again try to pull in the tiniest bit of that blue wall color, you need to continue to try and make that color more a part of the room instead of standing alone on the walls. And then decorate the top of the sideboard and the dining table....See MoreTo rug or not to rug... (rug under dining room table)
Comments (14)Thanks for all the advice! I think I am on the side of getting a rug. The more time I have spent looking at the room today has made it more obvious. Thanks for the pictures Beth, super helpful! I am an extremely particular person, especially when it come to rugs haha (I spent 3 or 4 weeks constantly/obsessively searching for the one in our living room). It is nice to have a jumping off point. Let the search begin... I have a black rectangular planter coming that I was planning on placing on the table and planting some low succulents in (picture). I thought that the table needed something black on it to pull in the light fixture more effectively. I was also planning on putting large plant in the corner. I'm not sure what type of art to put on the wall under the window. The window placement is...awkward. I wonder if a live/moss planting would work? There will be more mini projects and questions that come up for this main area as we move through it. We have most of the major pieces but are missing a lot of the smaller elements to tie it all together....See MoreFurmamma17
