North facing room

Our “new to us” 1950’s lake house has a north facing dining/living room with a 6’ sliding door and a 9’ sliding door. There is a sunroom attached to the 9’ door.

Our first vision for this house was hardwood floors and stained wood trim. Can’t do gray and/or white, as we are team warm space. The hand scraped saddle hickory hardwood floor is a beautiful medium brown.

Paint is entirely different nightmare. After painting eight different sample colors, we finally painted the room SW Ivoire, which is entirely too yellow.

The pics below were taken around 3:30 pm on an overcast day. The east end of the room with the fireplace (and sunroom) has no additional lighting. We are considering BM citrine on the fp wall hoping to pull out the lines of the mortar. The second pic was added to demonstrate the difference lighting makes on the flooring.

Will Citrine work as an accent wall color? If the fp wall is Citrine, which is dark, what will coordinate with the remaining walls? Please help me get off this rollercoaster!
