Difficult to tell anything about your plant from your pics. Remove all the dead and yellowing leaves so we may see the stem. Next, check the soil....is it a heavy peat based wet mix...does the container have adequate drainage?

As for uploading pics: Houzz has a size limit, or at least they used to. I had trouble using an iPhone®. I found by taking the pic first, then uploading from my pic file and selecting "medium", there's no problem. When uploading the size choice is at the bottom of the pic and very small print...easily missed!

Some oldest leaves die, but that seems too many at the same time. Plant could have been overwatered, that is when many leaves became yellowish and soft.

Check as bikerdoc suggested take photo of roots and bare stem and post.

It is also etiolated IMO. At least at one point, it wasn't receiving enough light. Newest growth seems to be OK. It could be heped by beheading. But let us see photos of roots and stem first.

I would remove all soil from the roots and repot to better draining mix.

It looks like typical peat/very peaty soil. It has some perlite in it, but very little of it. Try to get bag of perlite (could be pumice if available) and mix with C&S soil in 1:1 ratio to improve drainage. Use same size of pot. I would also use topdressing - layer of gravel, to keep lowest leaves from touching the wet soil. Not crucial, but helps.

When watering, take inner pot out and let it drain for at least 1/2hrs before putting back - looks like you are using cachepot/decorative outer pot. Do not water unless mix has almost completely dried out - use bamboo skewer or chopstick; stick deep inside of pot. Leave for few min. If dry when pulled out - time to water. If not, wait few more days.

I would keep it in best light possible. Most succulents need min. 6hrs of sunlight for best growth. If you don't have bright spot, consider supplemental lights.

Etiolated plants will have longer and weaker stems than neccessary, become top heavy, loose some color. If that happens, it could be decapitated and re-rooted; best done in spring when in active growth.
