Coffee table and rug suggestions
Comments (11)I'm afraid your dark walls make this whole room look sad, especially in tandem with your dark furniture. Walls in warm white would better suie the style you're going for, or actually any style. The gray trend is over and done with, and people make the mistake of having everything else gray too. You really need some light and lively colors to liven up this room. Farmhouse style is a trend that never had anything to do with real farmhouses, which had much more lively and inviting colors. Please at least try to find pillows that have warm, inviting colors to give your room a lift....See MoreRug suggestions please!
Comments (6)I too love beige and blue. I’m not a pro so for what it’s worth, I used a Kayleen rug, Agora, in denim blue, I found a photo of it on shop.carpet.com although that’s not where I purchased. Our walls are a light milk chocolate color and the little bit of brownish in the rug looks good with our new wood floors, the ivory sofa, and blue collected pottery. Sorry I do not have a photo. I love the way all my colors are underfoot and enliven the room. Of course, I have many years on you so I knew what I wanted when I began looking....See MorePlease suggest a new rug style/colour.
Comments (21)sir38 - if you like the rug, you can type in rug name as search term in Google, and a number of vendors will come up. If ordering rugs online, definitely get a sample if you can, or order the smallest size first; so in the event that you don’t like the rug and/or you feel it doesn’t work in your space, you don’t have to send back a huge rug....See MoreChair & rug suggestions please
Comments (3)I would also say that seeing the space will help. I actually have seen and not sure if it’s still around a rug , from target that would work great. It was blue and tan/graige. Outdoor material but could totally work either way. As far as the chair I would either go more antique looking like a rocking chair. Or just stick with the same style. Or you could be typical lol and get an egg chair...See Morenjmomma
