Island Lighting Help/Suggestions Please! Tuscan style
Comments (2)Thanks for your suggestion, dianalo. I live in South Texas where homes are mostly built hill country, tuscan, or french (depending on your neighborhood/part of town). The homes in our neighborhood are all Tuscan style. I am not wanting to design our house overly Tuscan though (there are soo many orange/brown accent walls here with faux painting). We have a lot of windows, I love natural light in a room. I am trying to stay away from an overly done warm, rich tone Tuscan home. I guess it is more light Tuscan/haciena/modern? Any other opinions on light? I am favoring the middle also, but my soon to be husband doesn't like it. He tends to favor dark or cool colors. I try explaining balance and how things affect the overall look is, but I dont think he gets it. I know he tries though! I really just wish I came across more options that I like!...See MoreNew Rug Suggestion
Comments (5)My goodness too much stufffffffff. Too many competing objects. I'm trying to figure out the one element you can change that will fix the room. I'm sure you paid a fortune for the draperies so even though they seem a bit fussy, I'm trying to not focus on them. I think maybe if the paint color is cooler to coordinate with the cool sofa and cool chairs that might help. Is the lovely green rug larger? Looks like the colors are good. Can you place that rug in the living room?...See MoreDark grey carpet suggestions for coloured rug

Comments (3)I would also say that seeing the space will help. I actually have seen and not sure if it’s still around a rug , from target that would work great. It was blue and tan/graige. Outdoor material but could totally work either way. As far as the chair I would either go more antique looking like a rocking chair. Or just stick with the same style. Or you could be typical lol and get an egg chair...See MoreCelery. Visualization, Rendering images
