UPDATE: October - Garden Circle Exchange Ring
Comments (66)Well, I typed out a whole message, pushed submit, then my internet went off and I lost it all. GRRR.... ANYway, lol... Diane, I received your package today. She sent me a really big and gorgeous garden statue!! I absolutely love it, thank you so much. It is beautiful, Diane. Here is a photo of it out in my yard: Diane, you have been such a great pal these past few months, despite how crazy busy you have been. And I cannot thank you enough for that. I wish we could've been pals longer, but I am enjoying the time that we have been pals. E-mail me sometime if you ever get a spare minute, and I will do my best to respond. I am still way behind on e-mails to others, specifically Susan, who I want to apologize to for not writing in so long. Seems like there is always so much to do, and so little time. I hope to sit myself down and write a good e-mail to you sometime. By the way Diane, here's a photo of the king frog statue you sent me last month, out on my back patio for now: Thanks again Diane, for such a great housewarming gift! ~Summer...See MoreUPDATE: Royal Gardener for October: hummingbirddaisy!
Comments (20)GlassMouse ~ I received your box yesterday. WOW!!! You went way out of your way to send such a wonderful box!!! Thank you so very much. I can't pick a favorite out of everything, because I love it all. The birdhouse in the shape of a rooster, too cool. The bead kits for the kid's, that was great. Thank you for including them. I love the hosta (Tattoo). The vanilla mints and the tin they came in our awesome. The ceramic rooster is proudly displayed in my kitchen (along with the birdhouse). Thank you for all of the bulbs. I started a pink garden for next year and these PINK bulbs are perfect! Everything you sent is perfect. Did you sneak in my house, LoL? Everything you sent was something I would have bought for myself. I am hanging the suncatcher in my garden room. If I have left something, I apologize. I am way past tired tonight, but I wanted to make sure to thank you soooooooooo much for a wonderful package. Good night (or morning LoL) Tina...See Moreupdate: october anniversary fotess part 2
Comments (22)Thanks for posting, Peggy! Don't know how I missed it! I think Jeanne is having computer problems, so it might be a while before we hear from her, and Nicole emailed me that she was going to re-send Jeanne's card. SOOO.. I think we can count this swap OVER! I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who played this month. I know you all have busy lives and it pleases me that you take time out for our swaps, Thank you! Shirley! Just got done feeding the neighbor's cats, who hid from me, and what's up with that? They know me. Did I say something last time? Oh well, hope they found the treat and then I hope they shared!...See MoreUPDATE: Kathy547's Secret Pal Swap....October Check-In
Comments (40)Hi, I just wanted to make a quick note and let everybody know I did send my pal a package In October and my Secret Pal did send me a wonderful package. I have had a great deal of trouble finding time to get online and communicate to all the Gardenweb Community. I want to thank my Secret Pal for all the little gifts you sent the kids for Halloween. They needed those pencil sharpeners and erasers. They keep losing all the ones I buy them. They are managing to keep up with the little balls you sent though. The hubby liked the pen you sent him. I hung the Flower Pot Seeds hanging dor up in the Sunroom. Did you embroider the kitchen décor yourself? That is so thoughtful. I tried embroidery when I was little but I do not have time to do stuff like that now. I hung it next to my spice rack since the saying referred to "seasoning with love." I have decided I need a shelf or something for my pretty garden cups. ThatÂs on my " honey do list". I always love reading the magazines you send. I have got a habit of thumbing through the Birds and Blooms a tonight while watching TV just to unwind-even the ones I have already read before. The Garden quotation book will work for that too. I was touched that you signed the inside cover for me. The dessert on the cover of the cooking magazine looks so good it will probably be the first recipe I try from that magazine. But, IÂm sure IÂll try more. I love finding a new recipe. The kitty kat toothbrush holder was converted to a pencil holder for my little girl. We play with our fingernails together so the emory board is coming in handy. I was excited to see the lighted magnifying glass for maps. I canÂt tell you how many times we pulled over under a street light this summer to figure out on the map where we were. Now we can do it and not lose time and hopefully not get lost. lol This weekend I will be plating some of the bulbs youÂve sent me. Usually, I donÂt so so well with bulbs. Even when the moles and squirrels didnÂt mess with them, they did not bloom. But one of the local gardeners told me it was because I needed to plant the bulbs in November. And showed me how she did hers. So, I am going to plant them her way. I am going to put the Chrysanthemums up front. And the allium and daffodils in the back yard I am sure I left something out but I am typing this from work. I just canÂt thank you from home anymore. Atleast not at the moment. There is too much going on. But, I do appreciate everything you have sent me. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for thinking of me! Leann...See MoreAmy (montreal, canada)
