Question for Kaseki! Miele hoods

Hello Kaseki! have read most if not all of your comments on ventilation. We will need to go with an internal blower for our small galley kitchen reno. We are splurging on the Miele induction range (30 inches). We cook daily but don’t do much frying except for Hanukkah (and then we open all the doors and windows and put a blanket in the opening between kitchen and dining).

I would like to go with a 36-inch Miele hood, probably wall mounted but could be under cabinet or insert if effective. It will go on an outside wall and vent directly out there.

Here are my questions:

1. Will the second of these wall-mounted chimney options provide better capture (due to its shape)?

2. Could this (or any extra-slim cabinet-depth insert) actually provide adequate capture for stuff on the front burner?

3. What about Miele’s motorized slide-out

hood? I can’t tell the difference between these two, nor can I find the spec for how deep they are when fully extended:

Thank you!
