mammapinky Yes, they are. I did that on purpose. I wanted a different illusion than just the mirrors hanging, if that makes sense. I want the mirrors and curtains anchoring the bed, like a headboard. Thank you! To everyone mentioning the mirror height, don't tell my husband! (lol) He absolutely hates hanging curtains, shelves, mirrors and paintings. haha I'll have to wait to the weekend or a day we both have the time and we shall raise them. I'll have to ease him into it. ;) Should they go the same height as the curtains? I said on another post that i think Cloud White is highy underrated. I find it to be milky, but not creamy. More of a warmer white, not too stark, but not yellowish. They probably wiuld bith work with the colors you selected. I have cloud white with SW Contented and BM Carrington Beige and it works well with both. To my eye, white dove looks more creamy (yellow) in samples than it does in pics of people's cabinets. BM also lists them as coordinating colors. Your best bet is peobably to get large paped samples or sample pots of both to look at in the space once the floors are installed and cabinets are installed. Maybe one will jump out as the right one, but they will probably both work.

instead of trying a yellow based white (like alabaster or the other warmer whites) why not try a white that leans red or even blue? Blue should cancel out the yellow. In either case, try a neutral white like Simply White or use the White Base, straight from the can. there is no added tint to it, so it's just a plain, basic white. I use the Base White on my ceilings and my trim. why don't you try the Extra White if you like SW, or if BM, try the chantilly lace, or Mirage White (which I"ve never heard of until now!) looks like it's on the cool side of blue/red.

My husband and I are about to start a total kitchen renovation, but it has come to a halt because I can’t select the cabinet color. Everything has been chosen and ready to go. If anyone could help with a color, that would be terrific. Attached is a picture of the quartzite countertop that I selected. It’s white with warmer grays and even some hints of cream. The house is a 1920s traditional and we have selected warmer whites throughout. All trim is SW Dover White. I feel like a brighter white is needed for this countertop, but I’m worried about going too white, yet I don’t want to go too warm and clash with the quartzite. The backsplash will be dolomite marble. Any suggestions?
