I currently have it paired with sea salt (a blue/green/gray) and it’s working wonderfully! I thing that a little bit of warm with the cool balances the room out in my opinion

So I used it for trim and ceiling so not sure picture really helps. But I loved that was not too stark.

Rosa - do you have another picture of Whitetail on your ceiling? i have it now on my walls & going to do it on my trim, but debating whether or not to put it also on the ceiling.

Actually I just remembered I have it in my bathroom which is blue so that will show contrast more

Thanks - that's really helpful! Yeah I definitely don't want a jarring contrast (which is what I have now b/c my painter mistakenly painted the ceilings / trim in extra white).

I did a Flat on ceiling abs the shiny on trim so there is still plenty of contrast (for me )

Thanks! I just did whitetail in my place everywhere, including trim/ceilings. Apart from some issues with the paint formula (described in my other thread) I am happy with the choice - you're right - it's a really nice soft white!

@kat - now I am curious - what were the problems with the formula ? (I did not see a different thread on this)

Whitetail looks slightly different when it's mixed in the Extra White base as opposed to the High Reflective White base. But in the end I'm liking both versions.

Interesting I don’t think I even know what base mine is. Did not realize was choices !!

Yes I only found out about that because my painter really wanted us to use the extra white base. I had originally thought about using white flour, which only comes in the high reflective white base, but my painter said it covers really badly (Sherwin WIlliams said that too).

i'm about to use this on exterior of a mediterranean/spanish stucco home. I have antique muted color tiles on roof and blue/gray window panes. Looking for an offwhite that won't look tan or stark white....any feedback before I pull the trigger on whitetail? thanks so much.

I looked at it for trim on my house - I wanted off white trim. Because of way sun hits it was quite white outside. If you want a white it may be nice but for my outside I wanted creamer (this was trim only) and ended up using BM Navajo White instead.

No whitetail on outside - it’s all BM Najavo White on exterior trim (I have whitetail on inside).

Benjamin more white rock but at 1/2 less strength

PS full strength (to me ) looks like a very different color than what I used by doing half strength
